JFECF hosts events to help be true to our mission. Some events raise awareness; some raise funds to support researchers and doctors; and some inform and educate others on what is happening in the esophageal cancer universe. Also, we will have some fun opportunities to make sure that Joyce's spirit is kept alive. We believe that Joyce would want us to have fun. We commit to including those four pillars in all of our events.

- Fri, Apr 25JFECF.orgWe have transitioned to an independent 501c3. What better way than to bring our time, effort, and energy to the fight than National Esophageal Cancer Awareness Day. Check out our website and social media accounts to find all kind of resources fighting this terrible disease.
Fri, Sep 06Overland ParkThe Priemer of "Fly First Class for Joyce". A fundraiser to support the Joyce M. Ferris Esophageal Cancer Fund through the Great Kansas City Community Foundation. Later on 04/25/25, the fund would transition into a stand-alone 501c3 and be known as the Joyce Ferris Esophageal Cancer Foundation.
